been quite a while

Hi everybody! been a long time since i've updated this place.. hope there are at least some pple who are reading this.. and still know of my existence.. haha...

doing my vacation attachment at RSS Sea Tiger. initially when i heard that most of us will be posted to ship for this hols, i detested it a lot.. i thought it was pointless, no training value, waste of time.. but i think it was more of fear.. i forgotten morse code, ROR, flags and pennants.. etc etc.. in short, i wasn't ready for a shipboard posting. then when i was told how scary Tiger XO is, i thought things cannot be any worse.. turn out, i think this is my best posting so far.. haha... my XO is super nice to me.. gives me off-days when i ask for it (of course for valid reasons..) my comms o lives very near me, and gives me a ride most of the time.. i went onboard Valour to sail for Ex Carat, and it was very memorable.. got to know a USN officer Jeff, spent some wonderful time together.. hmm think it was becoz i helped my XO a lot during the carat pre-sail period that got him to like me a lot.. haha...

anyway, what got me to do this posting is actually... Formidable is back!! our very first frigate.. built in france by DCN, the ship crew actually sailed it all the way back.. took a few weeks. then ytd was the homecoming ceremony at changi naval base.. real cool.. can't forget the first moment i saw it there, after going off from TTC.. it was simply magical.. the feeling i got, the excitment that overcame me.. looking at it in front of me.. after seeing it in pictures and graphics for so long.. haha... All the way!!
