what's happening in the rest of the world?

exams are coming to a close soon, i only have one more paper on thurs, aerodynamics.. quite a tough one.. thin aerofoil theory, Prandtl lifting line, lifting coefficient, turbojet engines, etc etc..

haven't been reading the newspapers recently, not sure what's happening these days.. i know there's a spate betwn japan and china. in china pple are sms-ing around to spread the boycott msg from 1may-1june.. using their japanese handphones.. haha... i know the south african president came to singapore for a day trip.. really wanted to go for the s'pore lecture.. reminds me of this book i read, the power of one (and its sequel tandia).. then there's the "debate" over the casino.. they are gonna build it after all.. then recently cedric foo decided to quit the cabinet.. just like what david lim did not too long ago.. the market still looks quite bad. crude oil prices are rising and rising.. haiz..

gotta start planning for my hols liao.. no news yet of my work attachment though, really need the extra cash.. going JB on the 6th may. going batam for cable skiing on the 7th or 8th. jason wants to go either redang or phuket for a dive trip. looking for more pple to join in..

finally.. the exams are here again.. embarking on the study break now. though this time round i am completely free of anxiety and stress.. haha... i'm not too sure why though. is it becos i only have 4 exam papers? hmm not much different from 5 anyway.. is it cos i'm fully prepared for the exams? hardly so.. i think it's more of me being in a mental state of not worrying anymore for such issues. my cap score is not going to improve drastically anyway, and i don't think i can still get into scheme C.. So, live and let live, i say...

my CA scores were surprisingly good though.. i got full marks for the first sci of music test, and will probably get the same score for the second one.. i got 21/25 for my first philo essay, haven't gotten back the second one.. i think i did ok for my aero and mat failure tests.. so, i'm pretty laidback now.. haha..
