Uberture Presents Scarlet Fever on 11 Feb 05:Partying during the Lunar New Year reaches fever pitch at Uberture's first signature event of 2005! Mark down Friday, 11th Feb 2005, where you'll get to enjoy Free Flow of Island Vodka, Gin, Rum and smashing beats of Singapore's biggest rock outfit Electrico, 'LIVE' IN CONCERT. That's not all, to top it off the party will stretch into the wee hours with established local act - 'The Guerilla Collective'. Electrico
Great rock 'n' roll music starts from a universal truth - the desire to express yourself while also believing you should be famous. Electrico began as an outfit called Electric Company in 1996 With a rejuvenated lineup in 2004, David Tan (lead vocals, guitars), Desmond Goh (Bass), Daniel Sassoon (guitars), Amanda Ling (keyboards), and William Lim Jr (drums) reignite the sparks and a new beginning is marked with a new band name, Electrico. Electrico now shifts into overdrive. Radio stations have been plugging the infectious groovy power pop of the first single I Want You, its chorus a giant singalong among the audience at Electrico's incendiary live shows. Electrico returned home after a successful tour of Australia in October to launch their debut album at Rouge. Towards the end of a pulsating 120 minute session, which included the screening of their Making of video, Desmond stage-dived into the crowd, and was rapidly surfed towards the other end of the club, prompting David to plead for their bassist back!" The 600-strong crowd gamely returned the flow of the surf to put the bassist back on stage in time for the encore! Electrico returns to Rouge Live! for another session by demand on Friday, 11th February 2005. Followed by The Guerrilla Collective...The Guerrilla Collective The Guerillas march into their sixth year, rising in ranks, forging more ground, and they are undisputedly, one of the best DJ collectives in Singapore.
